Question 1

How do I book?

Accepted Answer

Just get in touch via the contact page or give me a call. We'll have a relaxed, no-obligation chat about your space and what you need, and take it from there. Once you're happy to go ahead, you'll receive a terms and conditions form to complete — this confirms the space or spaces you'd like me to help with, along with any other relevant details before we begin.

Question 2

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

I ask that any cancellations are made with at least 48 hours' notice. This allows me to offer the time to other clients. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in a cancellation fee — this will be set out clearly in your terms and conditions form at the time of booking.

Question 3

Is a deposit required?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session. The remaining balance is due on the day. All of this will be confirmed in your booking terms and conditions form.

Question 4

Do I need to be present during the session?

Accepted Answer

Yes — I do ask that you're present throughout our session. This is because many decisions during the organising process are personal ones: what to keep, what to let go of, where things should live. I'm here to guide and support you through those choices, but they need to be yours. Being there together also means we can work at a pace that feels right for you.

Question 5

What happens to the things we decide to remove?

Accepted Answer

I do not remove, take away, or dispose of anything from your home. Any items you decide to donate, recycle, or discard remain your responsibility to arrange. I'm happy to help you think through options and organise collections — for example, booking a charity collection or arranging a council pick-up — but the actual removal must be carried out by you or a service you arrange directly.

Question 6

Are there any items you won't handle?

Accepted Answer

For health and safety reasons, I'm unable to handle anything that presents a biohazard risk. This includes items such as soiled materials, hazardous waste, or anything that poses a risk to health. If you're unsure whether something falls into this category, please mention it when we chat beforehand and we can discuss it.

Question 7

Will you throw things away without asking me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not. Nothing leaves its place — let alone your home — without your say-so. I'll help you think through what to keep, donate, or let go of, but every single decision is yours. There is no pressure, ever.

Question 8

Are you insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes — I am fully insured. You can book with complete peace of mind knowing that appropriate insurance is in place for every session.

Question 9

Do I need to buy storage or organising products beforehand?

Accepted Answer

Not at all — we work with what you already have first. If we identify that some storage items would genuinely help, I can advise on what to look for or source them for you as an optional add-on. Any purchases are always agreed with you upfront and charged separately.

What areas do you cover?

I'm based in Sutton Coldfield and work across the surrounding areas including Four Oaks, Mere Green, Streetly, Wylde Green, Erdington, Lichfield, Tamworth, Solihull, and Birmingham. Not sure if I cover your area? Just get in touch — I'm always happy to chat.

What if my home is really messy or disorganised?

That's exactly why I'm here. I've seen it all and there is genuinely no judgement — ever. The more chaotic the space, the more satisfying it is to sort. Please don't feel embarrassed, whatever state things are in.
